Dr. C. Allan Jones will address the June 10th Public Meeting Of The BRCC The Brazos River conservation Coalition will host its regular monthly public meeting at the Langdon Center Concert Hall on March 11th at 7:00 PM. Dr. Jones will discuss the results of several studies by the Water Resources Institute into the causes and implications of golden algae and bacteria/nutrient pollution on Texas lakes and rivers
Dr. Jones is the Director of Water Resources Institute at Texas A&M University. He is involved in funding most Texas water research projects, working closely with state and federal legislators and agencies. In Febuary, Arnold King had the opportunity to meet Dr. Jones at a meeting at A&M and found him to be very personable and an excellent communicator.
Recent, New And Planned Development In The Granbury Area
BRCC Director, Josh Rosenfeld, found a list of forty three development projects that are in progress, recently completed or scheduled for construction in the Granbury area. General development isn't an issue central to the mission of the BRCC, however, in some way every new construction, new family, additional vehicle and other affects of development impact the Brazos and Lake Granbury.
